The Women Marines 69th Anniversary Celebration
will be conducted at the Double Tree Hotel, 13696 E. Iliff Place, Aurora, CO
(just off of I-225 and Iliff Ave) Feb 18th at 11:30AM.
The cost will be $40 and proceeds will go to
"Wounded Warrior Fund" and for the "Aurora Veterans Home" projects so a good
cause. We will have an official cake cutting with the Buckley Field Young
Marines. And a drill exhibition by the Adams City High School MCJROTC, and a
possible Guest Speaker
You can register by going on line to www.WMACO1.org and using the donate tab to pay pal or send a check payable to WMA CO-1 and mail it to Paula Sarlls.
Reservations/payments must be made prior to Feb
15th. All are encouraged to attend the Women Marines 69th
Anniversary Celebration! This should be a great event.

On February 4, 2012 the Windsor Marines Detachment will
be hosting a No Limit Texas Hold-em Poker tournament at the Windsor Gardens
Auditorium Building, 595 S. Clinton St, Denver, CO 80247. Registration is
from 5 PM to 6 PM. The Tournament starts at 6 PM. Contact Bob Hunter at

Mid-Winter National Staff Conference 2012
The Marine Corps League Mid-Winter National Staff Conference will be held February 16, 17 and 18, 2012 at the Tysons Corner Marriott in Vienna, VA. The room rate is $95 per night, single or double.
Please make your room reservation directly to the Tysons Corner Marriott no later than January 20, 2012 at (703) 734-3200. Be sure to tell them you are with the Marine Corps League.
